# Find courses that offer a certificate for a fee

Only certain courses on FUN offer an exam that leads to a paid certificate upon payment.

The certificate is optional, and you can still follow the course without obtaining it.

You can identify MOOCs that offer a certificate in three different places.

## In the catalogue

In the catalogue ([here](https://www.fun-mooc.fr/en/courses/?limit=21&offset=0)), you can filter the certificate courses by ticking the ‘Certificate’ tab in the left-hand column.

You can identify these courses by their *red pictogram* on the course thumbnail.

## On the course presentation page

The URL of the course description page ends with *about*.

The assessment section mentions the possibility of obtaining a certificate.

## On your dashboard

You can also notice on your dashboard if a registration for an exam is being offered.  
The course will then display the red button "Register to take a certificate exam".

If you do not find any mention of a certificate or just the mention of a badge, it means that the course does not offer a certificate.
