How do I adjust the resolution and playback speed of course videos?

Since 2021, all course videos have been available through a solution called Marsha Video, developed by France Université Numérique.

Choosing Your Video Resolution

Marsha Video automatically adjusts the video resolution (adaptive bitrate) based on two factors:

• Your Bandwidth: The player detects the available bitrate of your connection and plays the video in the most suitable resolution.

• Player Size: If the video is played in windowed mode within the course, it will display at 480p. However, if you play it in full screen on a strong network, it will display at its maximum resolution.

You can, of course, change the resolution manually using the jog wheel:

Some variations in the automatic (auto) resolution of the video may also be due to the characteristics of your screen.

Changing playback speed

To slow down the video and sound in a video, you can use the dedicated function (1x by default).

You can select the speed of your choice directly or click on the dedicated button several times to go through the speeds and select the one that suits you best:
