New authentication system and account update - important information

On the night of 17 March, FUN implemented a new centralized authentication system that will eventually allow you to access all FUN platforms with a single account.

If you encounter any difficulties accessing your account following this update, please follow the guide below.

Update your FUN account

If you are logging in for the first time since this update, select the "Forgot Password?" option and enter your email address in the next step.

You should then receive a password reset email from no-reply@fun-edu.fr* or no-reply@fun-mooc.fr.

After clicking "Reset my password", you will be asked to:

  • Check and accept the Privacy Policy & TCs

  • Set a new password and click the Submit button.

You will then need to verify your account via a new email.

  • Click "Verify my email address" to complete the account update.

Note on delivery delays: Due to the very high number of accounts involved, we are experiencing slowdowns in email delivery. Please be patient, you should receive your email shortly.

* If the email comes from no-reply@fun-edu.fr, there is no cause for concern: this is an official address. To learn more, see the article Un nouveau domaine mail en @fun-edu.fr pour France Université Numérique.

Also remember to check your spam folder and make sure your mailbox is not full.

Still haven't received the email?

If after several hours and multiple attempts you still haven't received anything, your account may be dormant following the migration.

In that case:

  • From fun-mooc.fr, click on Login

  • From the "Sign in to your account" page, click on Register

  • Fill in the form fields

If a message says your email already exists, this confirms your account simply needs to be updated. Just wait for the password reset email to arrive.

If you completed the registration process, please wait. You will receive an account verification email that will allow you to sign in and recover your full account history.

For new accounts

The process for creating a new account is the same as described above.

Due to the high volume of emails currently being sent, the verification message may take up to 2 hours to arrive.

Regarding changed usernames

If your username changed following the migration, don't worry: we will be able to restore it. However, we are currently prioritizing account access issues.

Thank you for your patience and understanding 🙏.

You will very soon regain access to all your MOOCs and courses.
